RESIDENTIAL LARGE SCALE MODULAR RETAINING WALLS

DEFINITION
Wet cast modular retaining walls are made of precast, non-reconstituted concrete. Weighing between 400 to 10,000 pounds per block, these massive blocks are dry stacked on top of each other to create a mortar less modular retaining wall system.

USES
Wet cast modular block wall systems are used to hold back, barricade, or divide huge walls of dirt, sand or small stone and aggregate piles. Because of the large size of these blocks they can not be used for tight winding curved areas, but rather are used for massive gentle sweeping curves or straight walls. Some of the uses for gravity walls are: to hold back large dirt embankments in order to have walk out patios vs. decks, to hold back or build up large amounts of heavy earth to hold pool systems, or backyard massive water ponds, for residential developers that want massive grand entrances.

INSTALLATION OR BUILD
Do to the huge size and weight of these modular precast blocks heavy machines combined with manpower are needed to stack and arrange these blocks into their final precise configuration
